Introduction in Order

In accordance with the ancient traditions of the Temple and the current Statute, entry into the Order is carried out solely on the basis of a petition submitted in writing.

A candidate must be a person at least 18 years of age who sincerely professes the Christian Faith and possesses the integrity, virtues and morals of a true Christian. All accepted persons are enrolled for a mandatory probationary period (at least 3 months).

The petition is addressed to the OSMTH Regional Magistrate and must contain a summary detailing the following:

• Personal details: Full name (Last name, First name, Patronymic), exact date and place of birth, names of parents, marital status (if married - name of spouse, date and place of marriage), address of actual residence and religion.
• Professional and life path: Profession, name of the educational institution you graduated from, your and your immediate family’s occupation. Detailed biography (biography of childhood, youth, hobbies and interests).
• Merits and works: The presence and names of scientific or literary works, works, publications, as well as existing insignia, awards and orders.
• Motivation: Clearly stated reasons why you wish to join the Order, as well as a required essay (at least one page in length) on the topic: “What is the Order and who I see myself in it.”

At the end of the petition, the name of the locality in which it is being drawn up, the current date and the personal signature of the applicant must be indicated. Familiarization with the Statute and acceptance of the obligation to strictly follow it are mandatory conditions for consideration of your candidacy by the Chapter.

Note: Formal photographs (4 x 6 cm in evening dress or uniform) will be required by the candidate later during the Chapter and preparation for initiation phase. There is no need to attach them at the initial stage of filing the application.
