Ten commandments

From "Chivalry" by Leon Gautier

  • It is necessary to believe in the teachings of the Church and follow all its instructions.
  • The Church must be protected.
  • All weaknesses must be respected and one must make oneself independent of them.
  • You must love the country in which you were born.
  • Do not tremble before your enemy.
  • Always and mercilessly wage war against the infidels.
  • Voluntarily fulfill your feudal obligations, if this does not contradict the Laws of God.
  • Never lie and remain true to your word.
  • Be generous and give of yourself to everyone.
  • Always and everywhere protect Justice and Good from Injustice and Evil.
